Senior Thesis
My senior thesis has to do with obsessions. In other words things people are obsessed with; like movies, books, music, people, collecting things, etc. My obsessions, for example, include Lady Gaga, Harry Potter, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I have found that people are sometimes ashamed to admit the things that they are obsessed with. This is often because they fear what people might say if they knew what they are obsessed with. Yet, obsessions can have a positive effect on a person's life. Obsessions link people with similar interests together and create numerous social interactions, that otherwise might not have taken place before.
Through my thesis I want to show people the positive effects obsessions can have on a person's life, and let people know that it is okay for them to have these obsessions.
